Nancy Ann Dean Stepp

Bristol, VA Nancy Ann Dean Stepp, age 75, a child of God, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Nathan Dean and Fronia Brown Dean of Norton, VA. Nancy was a Registered Nurse and poured out her life in loving care for her family and her patients, working the last ten years as Head Nurse, H.C.R. Manor Care, Arden Court Facility in Silver Spring, MD. In addition to her parents, Nancy is also preceded in death by two sisters, Paige Amburgey and Jean Owens. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, C. David Stepp; daughter, Pamela Esser and grandson Gabriel Hylton of Bristol, VA; three sisters, Sonia Baker of Mechanicsville, VA; Betty Stewart and husband Donald of Bristol, VA; and Thelma Salyer and husband Joe B. of Wise, VA; brother, Jim Dean of Norton, VA; and several nieces and nephews. A cryptside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at the Temple Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum in Castlewood, VA with Pastor P. Gwen Owens officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will be held 12-1 p.m. in the Mausoleum just prior to the service.
