Nancy Carol Bradley

Abingdon, VA – Nancy Carol Bradley, age 82, passed on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Abingdon Health & Rehab Center. Nancy lived most of her life in Russell and Wise County, VA, particularly St. Paul, before moving to Abingdon 21 years ago. She worked many years at Lebanon Apparel and attended Trinity Baptist Church. Nancy was a loving mother and will be remembered as a strong, independent and generous woman. She is preceded in death by her parents, Burgess Cleveland Bradley and Mattie Jessee Bradley; five brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Jeff Bradley and wife Rosemary of Johnson City, TN, and Eric Hale and wife Sherry of Newland, NC; two sisters, Ann Porter and husband Orbie, and Vick Johnson, both of Castlewood, VA; and three grandchildren, Damon Bradley, Noah Hale and Annie Hale. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
