Nancy Dean Domst, 75, entered eternal life on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was born August 1, 1942 in Springfield, Ill. to the late Russell and Edna Dean. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, five sisters, and daughter, Robin Harris.
She was an active member of First Christian Church of Abingdon. She enjoyed volunteering with the Abingdon Community Christmas Dinner and in the gift shop at Johnston Memorial Hospital where she was voted volunteer of the year in 2017. Most of all she loved being around her family and friends and knew no strangers.
Her spirit is carried on by her husband Ron Domst of Abingdon, Va.; son, Greg Goin (wife Kim) of Greer, S.C.; daughter, Erin Bean (husband Nathan) of Meadowview, Va.; two step-children, Janelle Bange (husband Mike) of Elsberry, Mo. and Jim Domst (wife Faith) of Silverton, Ore.; along with 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at First Christian Church in Abingdon, Va. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. with Minister Tom Crise officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
