Nancy Loudell Johnson

Saltville, VA- 

Nancy Loudell Johnson age 78 of Hayter’s Gap, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home.  She was born May 15, 1940 to the late Raymond and Edna Olinger of Saltville, VA. 

She was preceded in death by two children, Sherry and Robbie.  Siblings, Artie Rhea and John Olinger. 

Nancy was retired from People Incorporated and was a member of Wesley Chapel Church.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 59 years Bobby Johnson; children Rick (Valarie) Johnson of Martin, TN; Teddy (Kim) Johnson of Meadowview, VA and Tim (Michelle) Johnson of Glade Spring, VA.  Sister; Burnell Hunt and Brother L.T. (Sue) Olinger both of Saltville, VA; special sister-in-law Lovena Rosenbaum and special niece Vickie (Rick) Smith of Hayters Gap, VA.  Eight grandchildren who were the joy of her life Jason Johnson, Nathan (Shawna) Johnson, Kailey Johnson, Justin (Camille) Johnson, Erica Johnson, Jarrod Johnson, Crystal (William) Cannon, and Brandon Johnson.  Five Great Grandchildren; Carson, Kaedence, Ian, Brynnley, and Jaxon.  Several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Jason Nunley and Brother Charlie McCamey officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Knolkreg Memorial Park. Casket bearers will be Nathan Johnson, Jason Johnson, Justin Johnson, Jarrod Johnson, Brandon Johnson, and Rick Smith.  Honorary bearers will be Junior Tweed, David Sullins, Allen Hunt, Jeff Hendricks, William Cannon, Troy Caudill, Herbert Holmes, and Jimmy Keesee.  Family will receive friends any time at the home. 

The family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care of Southwest Virginia, and the multiple caregivers who have provided great care during this most difficult time.
