Nathan Slade Robinson

Pleasant Lake, MI - Nathan Slade Robinson, age 34, formerly of Abingdon, VA went to be with his Lord on Friday, November 28, 2014, with his mother and stepfather by his side. Nathan was a graduate of Abingdon High School. He enjoyed camping and horseback riding with his family, and his horse Kate. He also enjoyed riding his four-wheeler. Nathan loved music and enjoyed singing along with the radio. Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Robinson. He is survived by his mother and step father, Teresa and Terry Robinson. Nathan and Terry had a very special relationship. Terry faithfully cared for Nathan and Teresa during Nathan’s illness. Nathan is also survived by his sister, Dawn Wise and two very special nieces, MacKenzie and Adriana all of Abingdon, VA; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Dorothy Ferguson of Abingdon, VA; paternal grandparents, Nancy Branch of Abingdon, VA and Leon and Elizabeth Robinson of Castlewood, VA. Numerous aunts and uncles, cousins also survive. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until noon on Wednesday December 3, 2014 at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will follow at noon with Dr. Don Paxton officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to defray final expenses and expenses associated with his illness.
