Saltville, VA – Mr. Neil Easley, Sr., age 63 and resident of North Fork River Road, passed on Friday, May 16, 2014, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Neil was born and raised in Ohio and moved with his family to Pennsylvania as a young teenager. He later moved to Saltville, VA in 1976 and worked as a carpenter and farmed for many years. He attended Riverbridge Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Marcy Gardener Easley, and son, Shawn Easley. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy Crawford Easley; three sons, Neil (Carolin) Easley, Jr. of Church Hill, TN; Cade Easley of Florida, and Seth Easley of Saltville, VA; one daughter, Shanna Easley of Saltville, VA; one sister, Kathy Konija of Arizona; and two grandchildren, Payton and Shianna Easley. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at the Worley Cemetery, River Bend Drive, Saltville, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00-11:45 a.m. just prior to the service at Riverbridge Church.
