Nettie Minnie Goodson, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in the NHC Healthcare Center.
She was a member of the Heavenly Rest Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Denver Goodson and was employed with Imperial Reading.
She is survived by her daughter Yvonne Ketchum Abingdon, VA, one grandchild, Larry Ketchum, two great grandchildren, Kevin Ketchum and wife Jennifer and Cody Ketchum and two great-great grandchildren, Austin and Sydney Ketchum, several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery on Black Hollow Road, Abingdon, VA with Pastor Robert Spears officiating. Those attending are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m.
There will be no formal visitation in the funeral home.
