Norman Lorne Elliott, 91, passed away February 28, 2019 in Johnson City Medical Center.
Norman was born June 25, 1927 to the late Roy and Julia McCloud Elliott. Upon graduating high school, Norman joined the United States Navy, and he retired with thirty-five years of service from Trailways Bus Company as a driver. Following retirement, he worked as a property manager for Finn Dillion and attended Victory Family Center in Glade Spring. Norman loved watching NASCAR.
Besides his parents, Norman is preceded in death by his brother, William Elliott; granddaughter, Melissa Elliott, and step-mother, Marie Kerns.
Norman is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Norma Rae Elliott; son, Lorne Raymond Elliott and wife Donna of Vandling, Penn.; daughter, Stacey Eldridge and husband, Pastor Tony Eldridge of South Daytona Beach Fla.; grandchildren, Tyler Eldridge, Brianna Eldridge, Brooke Elliott, and Kelley Elliott.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
