Ohlene C. Forrester

Ohlene C. Forrester went to be with the Lord at her home on Sunday, September 2, 2012 with her loving family and care givers by her side. She attended the Victory Baptist Church Bristol, Virginia and worked as a Beautician for 35 years in Abingdon, Virginia. Mrs. Forrester was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Geneva Cornett; a brother, Dickey; two sisters, Ruby Anderson and Ora Ward.

Surviving are her husband, Jack D. Forrester; two sons, Richard G. Sturgill and friend, Charlotte Stevens of Coeburn, Virginia and Mark C. Sturgill and wife, Jane of Wise, Virginia; two precious granddaughters, Natisha Sturgill Mabe and husband, Cody of Big Stone Gap, Virginia and Mia Sturgill of Wise, Virginia; two brothers, Claude Cornett and wife, Lib of Parkville, Maryland and Wayne Cornett and wife, Ruby of Rural Hall, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; her very special care givers and friends, Lynda Gross, Tracy Chitwood and Carolyn Culbertson; her coworkers and friends of Cuts and Company and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 4, 2012 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway Abingdon, Virginia. Funeral Services will follow at 8 P.M. with the Dr. Austin Cook officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia.
