Ottolene Russell Aistrop, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Grace Healthcare in Abingdon, VA.

Ottolene was born April 2, 1919 to the late Harlie C. and Celia Jane Potter Waycaster. She was a life-long resident of Washington County, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clay Russell and Willie Aistrop; her foster son, Leo Miller; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include three sons, Deloyd "D.H." Russell of Rural Retreat, Floyd Russell and wife Shirley of Marion, and Bill Russell and wife Cindy of Meadowview; three daughters, Burnease Russell of Abingdon, Margaret Miller and husband Randy of Meadowview, and Geraldine "Gerri" Mash and husband Ed of Meadowview; two foster sons, Danny Miller and wife Tammy, and Earl Miller and wife Martha, all of Sugar Grove, VA; three sisters, Loma Stanley and husband Paul, Macie Blevins, and Estelle McCracken; 28 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mrs. Aistrop will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Donnie Stanley officiating. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24210.
