Pamela Sue Gibson

Bristol, VA – Pamela Sue Hibbits Gibson, age 51, passed on February 8, 2022, in Holston Valley Medical Center. Pam was a graduate of Clintwood High School and Mountain Empire Community College. She worked as a phlebotomist for several years. Pam was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Evon Branham, and Beulah and Everett Hibbits.

She is survived by her husband, Kyle Wesley “Wes” Gibson; parents, Darrell and Ernestine Branham Hibbits; son, Jarred Thomas of Radford, VA; daughter, Tiffani Gibson of Yuma, VA; uncle Buddy and aunt Sue Horton; and special cousins, Kimberly Horton and Sabrina Hibbits.

Visitation with the family will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Forest Hills Chapel with Robert Swindall officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Wayne Thomas, Bobby Gibson, Steve Weller, Dustin Weller, Zach Weller, and Bradley Branham serving as pallbearers.
