Patricia Ann Bowers, 68, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
She was born September 17, 1942 and raised in Watauga Co., NC, but had lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She was a dear mother, grandmother and a very giving person, always helping others. She had the deepest love for her grandsons and was so very proud of both of them. She loved to play music and sing and enjoyed quilting. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rena Marie Cornett Wallace.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Sue Hutton and husband, Jim of Bristol, VA; two grandsons, Joshua Tyler Hutton and Joshua Lee Hutton; and half brother, Benny Wallace of Watauga Co., NC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 8, 2011 in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service on the grounds of Forest Hills Memory Gardens, 19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA. Stephen Talbert will officiate. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 until 7:45 P.M. Friday at the Forest Hills Chapel.
Committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 A.M. Saturday.
