Patricia Ann Kiser Mounts

Vansant, Va. –  Patricia Ann Kiser Mounts, 70, passed on Friday, February 15, 2019, in Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, Tenn.  Patricia was a 1966 graduate of Hurley High School and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Vansant. She was an active member in the church and served as the treasurer of the Victory Baptist Church Tuesday Ladies Group. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Blankenship Kiser and brother-in-law, Ted Osborne, Jr. 

Patricia is survived by her son James Patrick Mounts of Richlands, Va.; father Dewey Kiser of Abingdon, Va.; sister Judy Osborne of Grundy, Va.; nephews Pete Osborne of Grundy, Va., Brent Osborne of Mechanicsville, Va., and Brad Osborne of Blacksburg, Va.; niece Sheri Keller of Ravenna, Ohio; great-nephew and great-niece Grayson and Avery Osborne of Mechanicsville, Va.; special friends and neighbors, Terry and Anita Looney; and her special friends of the Tuesday Ladies Group: Patricia Cook, Bernice Elswick, Margaret Looney, ReDonna Lawson, Bonnie Altizer, Lynnett Hagy, and Rebecca Matney. 

Visitation with the family will be held 5-8 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2019, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  A second visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Monday, at Victory Baptist Church, 1471 Lovers Gap Road, Vansant, Va.  Funeral services will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Phillip Cook officiating.  Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Hills Memory Gardens.  Honorary pallbearers will be Pete, Brent, Brad, and Grayson Osborne. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Baptist Church Tuesday Ladies Group, P.O. Box 641, Vansant, VA 24656, in Ms. Mount’s name.
