Pearl Lilly Eades Simmons

Abingdon, VA Mrs. Pearl Lilly Eades Simmons passed away on September 16, 2015, joining her Heavenly Father, family members, and cherished friends who have gone on before. Pearl is survived by her daughter and son-in law, George and Doris Hearl of Abingdon, Virginia; her son Douglas Lilly of Seabrook, Texas; one sister, Mary Roark of West Grove, Pennsylvania; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In accordance with the wishes of Pearl and her family, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church, Abingdon, with a private burial to follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park. There will be no viewing. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Crise. The family would encourage her friends to acknowledge their love with a donation in her honor to be given to the church she attended for many years, First Christian Church, 185 Old Jonesboro Road, Abingdon, VA 24210; to Faith in Action, P.O. Box 2419 Abingdon, VA 24210; or to the church you attend. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kirby and Pam Hearl, Seth Hearl, Mike and Angie Mathers, Trenton, Austin and Grant Lilly.
