Phyllis Carol Worley Woodby

Abingdon, VA – Phyllis Carol Worley Woodby, age 71, passed on Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home.  Phyllis was born in Russell County, VA to the late Izar and Mary Leona Taylor Worley.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Chap Johnson Woodby, and brothers, Fred, Glenn, Lee, and James Worley. 

Phyllis is survived by two sons, Michael (Wendy) Worley of Abingdon, VA, and Johnny Ray (Haley) Worley of Damascus, VA; daughter, Amanda Rose Worley of Damascus, VA; brother, C.A. Worley of Abingdon, VA; sister, Brenda Gail Spiva of Meadowview, VA; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation with the family will be held 1:00-2:15 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Services.  Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Knollkreg Memorial Park with Pastor Chad Johnson officiating.
