Quinn Allen Asher, age 28, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Quinn attended Abingdon High School and graduated from Virginia Highlands Community College with honors. He was a senior engineering student at Virginia Tech and loved technology of all kinds. Quinn was a wonderful, loyal husband and father, and he dearly loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Whittney Miller Asher; one daughter, Stella Moon Asher, and another child due next summer; his mother, Jean Gay-Asher; mother-in-law, Betty Miller; two brothers, James Asher and Richard Gay; his sister, Denise Presnell and her husband, Larry; nephew and nieces, Elijah Presnell, Grace Presnell, Vivianne Gay and Abby Ratcliff; his aunt and uncle, Mary Anne Murray and B. J. Clark and daughter, Erin; and his father, Victor Asher.
A memorial service for Quinn Asher will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with the Rev. Bob Thornton officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
