Rebecca Lynne Johnson

Bristol, TN- Rebecca Lynne “Becca” Brown Johnson, age 31, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born to Cecil and Lynne Brown on May 12, 1984. Becca owned her own business, A Healing Touch, where she worked as a massage therapist, and she attended Belle Meadows Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jamie Johnson of Bristol, VA; daughter, Jadyn Johnson of Bristol, VA; sister, Jessica Harrison and husband Brian of Bradshaw, WV; two nephews, Blake and Aiden Harrison of Bradshaw, WV; and cousin, Amy Taylor and husband Kevin of Troutdale. A funeral ceremony will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Belle Meadows Baptist Church, 619 Wagner Road, Bristol, VA 24201, with Dr. Dewey W. Williams and Bro. Tim Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. A committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 8th at Troutdale Community Cemetery where Harold Crosswhite, Jerry Cunningham, Brian Harrison, John Linton, John Salyer, and Kevin Taylor will serve as pallbearers. Dr. Mark Davis will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Johnson City Medical Center especially, Joseph of 2900 ICU, Wendy and Crystle of 2800 ICU, Barbara and Patty of the 5th floor, and Elisabeth of the 4th floor.
