Rev. Harry W. Hight, Jr.

Pennington Gap, VA – Rev. Harry W. Hight, Jr., age 80, passed on Sunday, June 16, 2019.  Rev. Hight was born in Pulaski, VA but lived in many areas where he served as a United Methodist Minister in the Holston Conference for over 30 years.  He was a graduate of Pulaski, VA High School, Emory & Henry University, and Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA.  Rev. Hight is preceded in death by his parents, Harry W. Hight, Sr. and Ihla Hines Hight; and brothers, David and Robert Hight. He is survived by one son, Hartford (Susan) Hight of Snellville, GA; two daughters, Alice Marie Owens of Pennington Gap, VA and Bobbi Jo (Frank) Ingiaimo of Scranton, PA; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2019, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
