Revonda Oretta Mullins Mumpower Cassell

Glade Spring, VA – Revonda Oretta “Maw” Mullins Mumpower Cassell, age 77, passed on Friday, September 8, 2017, at her home. Revonda was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Mullins and Minnie Widener Mullins; first husband, Roy Mumpower; daughters, Cindy Mumpower and Monica Armstrong Kennedy; grandson, Roy Michael Mumpower, Jr.; and brother, Bob Mullins.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Cassell; sons, Ricky “Whistle” Mumpower of Meadowview, VA, and Mike “Spud” Mumpower of Bristol, TN; daughters, Joy (Robby) Henderson of Kingsport, TN, Lisa Anderson of Bristol, VA, Tammy (Mike) Garrett of Clinchco, VA, and Vickie Mumpower Arnold of Bristol, TN; step-son, Rusty Cassell of Glade Spring, VA; brother, Charles Mullins of Bristol, VA; sisters, Marleen (John) Marshall of Saltville, VA, Betty Church of Saltville, VA, and Wendy Mullins of Bristol, VA; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2017, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Leonard Smith officiating.
