Robert L. "Bob" Looney, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2011 in Daytona Beach, FL.
He was the son of the late, Jennings L. and Callie Clevinger Looney of Grundy, VA. Bob served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Island Creek Coal and Consol Energy before retiring.
A cryptside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Tom Crise officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until the time of the service. Military rites will be conducted by Highlands Veterans Honor Guard.
