Roberta Skillman Riddle

Roberta Skillman Riddle, age 79, of Bristol, Virginia, passed away at Johnston Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 8, 2025. 

Roberta was born in Front Royal, Virginia to the late Robert and Hattie Skillman. She was an RN in the operation room for 30 plus years. Roberta loved what she did and enjoyed helping people in her community.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Riddle and her daughter, Robyn D. Riddle Pennington.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Rodriguez and husband, Youvanne Rodriguez; son, Donny Riddle; three granddaughters; Kathryne Pennington and significant other, Aaron Smith, Lindsey Riddle, and Missy Rodriguez; two grandsons, Justin Rodriguez and Eddie Rodriguez; great-grandson, Wyatt Smith; sister, Mary Babcock; brother, Bobby Skillman; and her beloved dog, Freya. 

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Jerry A. Eggers officiating.
