Roger Alan Johnson

Abingdon, VA Roger Alan Johnson, age 58, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at his home. He was born to Don Johnson and the late Shirley Jean Hinchey Johnson on July 22, 1957. He was an employee of Dominion Corporation, and he enjoyed NASCAR racing and fishing. In addition to his father, Roger is also survived by his son, Michael Johnson; three daughters, Kellie Singleton, Christy Johnson, and Brandi Johnson; and four grandchildren, Jacob Winebarger, Ashlyn Brown, Madelyn Singleton, and Jackson Singleton. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Mountain View Methodist Cemetery off Rt. 75 with the Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
