Roger Allen Goodson

Roger Allen Goodson, age 50, of Glade Spring, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Goodson.
Roger is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cynthia Annette Goodson; mother, Doris Gay Smith and husband, Vernon, of Abingdon, Va.; two half-brothers, Christopher Smith and Jaime Smith; and his father and mother-in-law, Rev. William Arnold and Janette Arnold of Bristol, Va.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Dr. Don Paxton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
