Abingdon, VA – Ronald Eugene Price, age 64, passed on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at his home. Eugene loved the Lord, his family, and his church family. He was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and the owner of RE Hardwood Flooring.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Price, Sr. and Mary Whicker Price.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sheila Price; son, Brett and wife Emily; grandchildren, Atleigh and Hudson Price; brothers, George Price and wife Wanda, and Frank Price and wife Diane; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Les Ketron officiating. Pallbearers will be Russell Dean, Ronnie Beverly, Preston Price, Michael Price, Kevin Sproles, and Brian Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Central Baptist Church. COVID-19 guidelines are to be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Central Baptist Church, 24461 Mock Knob Road, Abingdon, VA 24211, in Mr. Price’s name.
