Ronald Ralph Rasnake, also known as “Tiny” and “Pops” age 77, of Abingdon, VA passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA.
Ronald was born in Richlands, VA on August 11, 1944 to the late Leslie Remire Rasnake and Edith Spears Rasnake.
He is survived by three sons, Kenny Heath and wife Christy of Meadowview, VA, Curt Lee Shew and wife Kimberly of Gulfport, FL, Joe Rasnake and wife Beth Finne of Abingdon, VA; three brothers, Bob Spears and wife Dolly of Abingdon, VA, Curtis Rasnake of Abingdon, VA, Danny Rasnake and wife Nancy of Abingdon, VA; a sister, Ginger Holmes and husband Preston Holmes of Damascus, VA; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Rasnake and a sister, Sherry Rasnake
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Farris Funeral Service Chapel at 427 East Main St. Abingdon, VA 24210
Ronald’s cremated remains will be interred at a later date beside his wife at Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA.
The family will be gathering at the home of Joe Rasnake at 150 Melrose Street, Abingdon, VA 24210
