Roy William Musick

Roy William Musick, age 92, of Bristol VA passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Connie Musick, his mother and stepfather, Bertha Musick Owens and Lemuel (Lem) Owens.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene, Joe and Edward, also, his great-grandson, Jacob (Jake) Watkins.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Violet Nash Musick, two daughters, Barbara Johnson and husband Albert and Joyce Watkins; one grandson, Gabriel Watkins and great-grandson, Lucas (Luke) Watkins.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA with Minister Ronnie Musick officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice in his memory.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. David Thompson and the nurses and staff of Commonwealth Senior Living Memory Care unit for the loving care they provided to Roy.
