Rozella J. Reynolds

Rozella J. Reynolds, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at her home.
She was born on May 12, 1926 in Abingdon, VA. She retired from Abingdon Harwood Manufacturing. She remained active during her retirement working at the Abingdon Jail, the Washington County Public Library, and the Virginia Highlands Community College where she received a certificate of appreciation for her contributions and her service. She attended Abingdon Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and loved walking on the Virginia Creeper Trail.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roscoe Gilmer Reynolds, Sr.; three brothers, James Mink, Bill Mink, and Beattie Mink; and three sisters, Maggie Poole, Ruth Mink, and Mary Ellen Terry.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Summitt of Abingdon, VA and Becky Carrier and husband Tom of Bluff City, TN; and son, Roscoe Gilmer "Rusty" Reynolds, Jr. and wife Sue of Bristol, VA; grandson, Brett Summitt; granddaughter, Angie Summitt; great grandson, Michael Blevins; great granddaughter, Nichole; and great great-granddaughter, Cassadea all of Abingdon, VA. She is also survived by her sister, Yeative Reynolds of Dayton, OH; several nieces and nephews; and all of her friends at Washington Court Apartments.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with Reverend Ray Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Greenfield Baptist Cemetery in Meadowview, VA where Michael Blevins, Michael Terry, Mike Reynolds, Dominic Tignor, Emmett Reynolds, and Phillip Reynolds will serve as pallbearers.
