Ruby Evelyn Fullen

Meadowview, VA – Ruby Evelyn Fullen, age 72, passed on Monday, August 3, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Bristol, TN. Ruby was a former employee of Virginia Highlands Community College and lived in Johnson City, TN for 12 years before moving back to Meadowview, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Fullen and Eliza Oxendine Fullen; and three brothers, Buddy, Paul, and Preston Fullen. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Ray and husband Seymour of Bristol, TN; brothers, George Fullen of Abingdon, VA, Billy Fullen of Abingdon, VA, Ennis Fullen of Meadowview, VA, Rudy Fullen of Bristol, TN, and Ricky Fullen and wife Sharon of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Virginia Fullen of Kingsport, TN; three grandchildren, Tara, Shawn, and Elizabeth Ray; two great-granchildren, Boston and Jersey Ray; two special grandchildren, Josalyn and Courtney Blackwell; three aunts, Lydia Fullen of Abingdon, VA, Frances Johnson of Harrisburg, PA, and Grace Oxendine of York, PA; uncle, James Hicks of Lebanon, VA; special cousins, Jesse Butler and JoAnn Richardson; special friends, Annie Mae Hall and Nancy Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Elder Billy Fullen officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Loray Connor, Brandon Fullen, Jamie Springs, Donny Fullen, Kevin Lindsey, and Jimmy Fullen serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Warren Lindsey, Moe Smith, John Smith, Billy Fullen, Jr, and Steve Fields.
