Ruth Constance Neal

Ruth Constance Powers Neal, age 94, of Meadowview, VA went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2025. Ruth was born October 27, 1930 to the late Frank and Betty Powers of Russell County, VA. Ruth was a homemaker, devoted loving mother and friend. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Charles Neal, Jr.; daughter, Carol McGuire; five brothers and four sisters.

Ruth is survived by three sons, Gary R. Mangus and wife, Judye, Danville, VA, Terry Neal, Meadowview, VA, and Dennis Neal, Glade Spring, VA; one daughter, Anita Tesnear of the home; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to mention some very special people in their mother's life: Mary Ann Bise, whom Mom loved dearly, Dr. Jennifer Jonkers, Elite Hospice, and Keith Poole. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at Farris Funeral Service - Main Street chapel. A cryptside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 24, 2025 at Mount Rose Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
