Sharon Isadean Fields

Sharon Isadean Fields, 86, of Abingdon, VA, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and family. She was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and cherished her life in Abingdon surrounded by those she loved dearly.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert "Bobby" Fields, with whom she shared many cherished memories.

Sharon is survived by her two sons, Robert "Lee" Fields and his wife Venus, and Allen Fields and his wife Karrie. She was also blessed with a large and loving family, including Dakota Fields and Jessica Nelms, Alexis Cole and her husband Bryson, Dillon Blankenship and his wife Alyssa, John Fields, Kenny Fields and Rachel Turner, Austin Fields, Kody Fields, Nikkie Pruitt and her wife Emily, Chris Fields, and Candy Lewis and her husband, David. Sharon is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Kendall McNew and Noah Worley.

Sharon’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at NHC for their unwavering care and compassion during her time with them.

Sharon’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Sharon will be held on Thursday, February 20 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Kain officiating. The committal service will be on Friday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Knollkreg Memorial Park with Dakota Fields, John Fields, Kenny Fields, Kody Fields, Chris Fields, Austin Fields, Bryson Cole, and Dillon Blankenship serving as pallbearers.
