Shirley Ann Trent Coleman

Shirley Ann Trent Coleman, age 61, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Valley Health Care Center. She was born June 2, 1956, to the late Jessie Fred Trent and Emma Doris Widener Trent. Shirley was a member of the Abingdon Church of Christ. She was a gracious hostess and frequently volunteered in the community.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Coleman and wife, Scharlie, of Greensboro, N.C.; brother, Dean Trent, Sr. and wife, Kathy, of Glade Spring, Va.; four aunts; one uncle; niece, Christie Trent Lutz and husband, Brad; two nephews: Freddie Trent, Jr. and wife, Becky; Jessie Trent; one great niece; three great nephews; and beloved Yorkie, Vinnie.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Shirley’s home on Lee Highway.
