Mr. Stanley Bill Wagoner, age 79, passed away Wednesday October 9, 2013 in the Valley Healthcare Facility; Chilhowie, VA. Mr. Wagoner had been employed by Appalachian Power for 10 years. He was best known as the owner/operator of the Cleveland Supermarket in Cleveland, VA. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and was a member of the Anglican Catholic Church. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and traveler.
Mr. Wagoner was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Dorothy Goodman Causey Wagoner, his first wife Jeanette W. Wagoner and a son Stanley Michael Wagoner.
He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Ramey Wagoner; daughter Alice A. Owen of Simpsonville, SC; stepchildren Patricia Hammond of Atkins, VA, Richard Glassner of Tazewell, VA and Michael Smith of Bristol, VA. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 1 great step grandchild.
Graveside services for Mr. Stanley Bill Wagoner will be held at 11:30 am Saturday October 12, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am 11:00 am prior to processing to the cemetery.
