Stephen Timothy Haer

Stephen Timothy Haer, age 80, of Bristol, Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 31, 2023.  He was born March 8, 1943, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Herbert and Eunice Haer. He was a graduate of East Tennessee University, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Marcus Haer.

He is survived by his wife Jane Haer, sisters-in-law Brenda Haer, Becky Johnson, Jody Denton, Linda Rector; his brother-in-law Jim Rector and wife Ann. He is also survived by nephews Jamey Rector and wife Lauren, Jeff Johnson and wife Kim, David Haer, and niece Lisa Clausen and husband Bill. Left to cherish his memory are many cousins and great-nieces and a nephew.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens for family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
