Sue Buchanan Clark, 82, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Sue was born in Smyth Co. VA to the late Wilson and Haller Buchanan. She attended King College, graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music and was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Rich Valley Presbyterian Church and attended Green Spring Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Philip B. Lee; one granddaughter, Patricia Dawn Lee; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Dr. Don Paxton and Rev. Jon Elliott Martin officiating. The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service on Saturday from 5:00 pm until the time of the service.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Rich Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Hope III, James Wilson Hope, Clark Case, David Wolcott, and great nephews.
