Sylvia June McVey

Sylvia June Spriggs McVey passed away June 4, 2023, at Deer Meadows (Grace) Healthcare. She was born June 9, 1937, to the late James Lester and Pearl Grace Spriggs in Damascus, VA.

June is predeceased by her husband, James William McVey; son, James Edward McVey; infant son, David Bradley McVey; son-in-law, Randall Evans and sister, Dorothy Hall of Waynesboro, VA.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Sue Evans of Saltville, VA and Janet M. Martin and husband, Mike of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren, Michael Martin and wife Tara of Abingdon, VA, Jason Martin and wife, Angel of Madison, AL, Chris McVey and wife Judy and Todd McVey; great grandchildren, Kiara, Rhys, Deklyn, Evie, Logan and Sully Martin; step grandchildren, Lisa (Chad) and Jennifer (James) and step great-grandchildren, Christopher, Miranda, Andrew, Shawn, Matthew and Issac McGlocklin

At Ms. McVey’s request, no services will be held.
