Teddy "Joe" Tolliver, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 7, 2014.
Joe is survived by his loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Steve Zappardo of Kingsport, TN; loving grandson, USAF A.J. Zappardo; six brothers, Jack Tolliver, Clyde Tolliver, Don Tolliver, Jackie Tolliver, Johnny Tolliver, and Larry Tolliver; three sisters, Helen Pruitt, Peggy Duncan, and Teresa (Johnny) Fleenor; special nieces and nephew, Ashley Tolliver, Jennifer Nelson, and Mike Tolliver; and special friends, Mark Barrett, Ann Barrett, and Calvin Odum.
Per Joe's wishes there will be no services. The family would like to thank all the family and friends for their love and support. In lieu of flowers and food, Joe asked that monetary memorials be made to Feeding America of Southwest Virginia, P.O. Box 2579, Abingdon, VA 24212.
