Thomas Trentadue, age 92, of Damascus, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2016, at Commonwealth Assisted Living. He was born to the late Veto M. Trentadue and Bertha Worley Trentadue on October 25, 1924, in Gary, W. Va. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served as an automotive equipment operator during World War II. Tom retired from U.S. Steel in Gary, W.Va. and relocated to Southwest Virginia where he was employed by Columbus McKinnon. He was a 50 year Mason and a former Master of the Liberty Hall Masonic Lodge No. 104 in Damascus, Va.
In addition to his parents, Tom was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Fred, and Jesse Trentadue; and two sisters, Dorothy Carter and Rosa Poxon.
He is survived by his sister, Sue Trentadue Watson of Abingdon, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Masonic Rites will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the Liberty Hall Lodge No. 104, 103 W. Imboden Street, Damascus, VA. Visitation with the family will be held 1-3 p.m. prior to the Rites.
