Tommy Green Tiller

Tommy Green Tiller, age 58, passed on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Tommy was born and raised in the Mingo County area of West Virginia. He spent much time living in Beckley, WV and Welch, WV before moving to Washington County in 1980. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Tiller is preceded in death by his parents, James Clarence Tiller, Sr. and Armilda Emily Lester, as well as his sister, Wanda.



He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Clara Kestner Tiller; daughters, Emily Tiller of Glade Spring, VA and Jessica Kestner of Meadowview, VA; brothers, John Tiller of Bristol, VA, Jimmy Tiller of WV, and Donny Tiller of CA; sisters, Rose Fields of Abingdon, VA, Merle Jarvis of OH, Dora Hurley of WV, and Mary Jean McClanahan of WV; and grandchildren, Casper and James Tiller and David and Angel Kestner.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Tim Norris officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with David Kestner, Henry Kestner, Sammy Kestner, Brandon Kestner, Chris Kestner, and June Self serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Enscore, Mark Enscore, Bud Widner, and D. Cook.
