Travis David Sexton, 19, went home to Heaven to be with Jesus and his "Granny" on Thursday, August 11, 2011.
Travis was born July 22, 1992 and was a very special boy. Anyone who came in contact with Travis throughout his life loved him. He was his Papaw's baby boy. Travis couldn't speak in this life and his "granny" was unable to hear, but at their reunion in Heaven they are able for eternity.
Travis was a graduate of Abingdon High School Special Education Class.
He is survived by his father, David; mother, Tammy; grandfather, Papaw Bill; Uncle Billy; and most of all, his sister, Mary Shannon.
The family acknowledges all the wonderful people in Travis' life; his teacher, Allison Stinson and support group at Abingdon High School; caseworkers, Patty Thomas and Annette Baird; Dr. Helen Johnston, Dr. Dreyzehner and Dr. Conrad.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 3 4pm Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glade Spring Disaster Relief Fund.
