Trevor Austin Tadlock

Trevor Austin Tadlock, age 22, of Damascus, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.  He was a 2014 graduate of Holston High School and was enrolled in the Welding Technology program at Highland Community College Technical Center where he was scheduled to graduate on May 11th. Trevor was employed at the Dollar General Store in Damascus. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Billie June Mackey; and maternal grandfather, Glen Worley.  

Trevor is survived by his father, Christopher Allen Tadlock of Hickory, N.C.; mother, Glenda Worley Mitchell and husband, Michael, of the home; five siblings: Tyler Mitchell of Abingdon, Va.; Morgan Walden; Logan Walden; Madison Mitchell; and Brayden Dugger, all of the home; paternal grandfather, Michael Tadlock of Hickory, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Joyce Worley of Damascus, Va.; step-grandparents, Paul and Linda Mitchell of Abingdon, Va.;two paternal aunts, Mig Tadlock and husband, David, of Hickory, N.C. and Billie Getsinger of Hickory, N.C.; maternal uncle, Robert Worley and wife, Nancy, of Bristol, Tenn.; maternal aunt, Carrie Bordwine of Saltville, Va.; and girlfriend, Megan Rowe of Abingdon, Va.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Vaughan officiating.  Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 a.m. Saturday.  Adam Gomes, Kevin Justus, Tyler Mitchell, Scott D. Shifflett II, Nick Tignor, and Logan Walden will serve as pallbearers.  The boys of the brotherhood, Hunter Norris, and Dean Whitt will serve as honorary pallbearers.  Visititation will be from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
