Trula Lee Crigger, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Washington County, Va. Trula was a homemaker and was a member of Mount Calvary Church. At Mount Calvary, she loved sharing the Word with children and teaching them crafts in Sunday School. Her family will remember her as being filled with Joy, Love, and for being a Great Wife.
She was predeceased by her mother Evelyn Gobble; brothers Johnny Brooks and Darrell Gobble; nephew C.J. Lawrence.
Trula is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roger; son Tony Crigger and wife Pam of Abingdon; granddaughter, and star in her eye, Aylin; brothers James Gobble and wife Wanda of Bristol, Va. and Hulen Orfield, Jr. of Abingdon; sisters Doris Mabe and Millie Lawrence both of Abingdon; brother-in-law Tommy Crigger and wife Patty of Marion, Va.; sisters-in-law Rita Stenson of Mebane, NC and Brenda Lynch and husband Steve of Abingdon.
The family will receive friends from noon – 1:45 on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 1:45 pm to Forest Hills Memory Gardens for a graveside service officiated by Bro. Kirby Miller and Paul Price. Casket bearers will be selected from family and friends.
