Virgie Faye Adams

Mrs. Virgie Faye Adams, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. She was born September 24, 1948 to the late Caney and Edna Mitchell Blackwell. Virgie enjoyed nature and spending time with her family. Besides her parents, Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lacey Adams; two sons, Matthew Adams and Randy Adams; one brother, Jack Blackwell; one sister, Glenda Townsend; and special friend, Bob Coram. Mrs. Adams is survived by five sons: Andy Adams, Benny Adams and wife Julie, Mark Adams and wife Mary, Clyde Adams and wife Melissa, and Christopher Adams; five daughters: Edna Arnold and husband Dale, Tina Huyler and husband Harold, Doris Shoemate and husband Lonnie, Becky Armstrong and husband Ryan, and Rachael Adams. In addition, she is survived by ten grandchildren: Ashley Arnold, Nathaniel and Alexander Huyler, Katie and Jacob Shoemate, Amber Adams, Emily and Liam Adams, Erica Adams, and Adam Armstrong. Mrs. Adams is also survived by two brothers, Clyde Blackwell and wife Joan, and Frank Blackwell and wife Myra; and one sister, Margret Russell. A celebration of life service will be held in Mrs. Adams' home, 354 North Bone Hollow Road, Damascus, Virginia on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10 A.M.
