Virginia Looney Bellon

Virginia B. Musick Bellon aged 98 passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023, in Johnson City, Tn. Virginia was the daughter of Charles L. and Virgie Davis Looney of Grundy, Va. She was the owner and operator of the Musick Motel and Restaurant in Grundy for many years. She attended Grundy High School and later graduated from Mountain Mission High School. After moving to Florida, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Deltona, Fl. 

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Stinson Musick, sisters Edith Looney and Velva Shortridge; brothers Woodrow Looney and Clyde Looney.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Patricia “Pat” Hatfield and fiancée, David Tassone of Abingdon; son Calvin Leslie Musick and fiancée Donna Hill of Gray, Tn; and grandson Kevin Leslie Musick of Kingsport, Tn. Virginia is also survived by special nieces, Kay Shortridge Brown of Greeneville Tn. and Sandra Looney Ratliff of Grundy. 

A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
