Bristol, TN “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Wander Lucille “Wanda” Bott Houser Blair, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2015. She was born on June 17, 1930 to Luther and Sally Bott in Washington County, VA. She was of the Baptist Faith. Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, WWII Veteran Roy Houser, and her second husband, WWII Veteran Stanley Blair; her parents, Luther and Sally Bott; brothers Wiler Jr. Bott, Alfred Bott,Floyde K. Bott, and Orville Bott; sisters Ada Goodson, Gladys Burge, Geneva Miller, Hazel Wright, and Minnie Sperry; daughter-in-law, Linda Houser; and her bird dog, Jake. She is survived by her son, Wayne Houser and wife Bonnie; granddaughter, Karen Gobble and husband Jr.; great-granddaughter, Chelsie Bowers and husband Joey; great-grandson, Cody Gobble; sister, Trula Harless; her best buddy and guard dog, Rufus; and special friends, Sam, Margaret, and Gary Crosswhite, Barbara Wright, and John Lewis. Graveside service for Wander Lucille “Wanda” Bott Houser Blair will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Paul Price and Rev. Charlie Harmon officiating. Casket bearers will be John Lawson, Joey Bowers, Manuel Bowers, Gary Crosswhite, Willie Hill, Ben Childress, Ricky Smithson, Preston Edmondsen, and Herman Miller.
