Wanda Lorraine Woodward Taylor

Saltville, VA – Wanda Lorraine Woodward Taylor, age 84, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at her home. Wanda was a graduate of Meadowview High School and a long-time employee of Tultex. She attended River Bridge Community Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.  

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Florida Fay Rickman Woodward; husband, Glen Taylor; two sons, Danny Taylor and Wade Taylor; daughter, Carol Dickerson; great grandson, Richard Marvin; brothers, Walter and Kenneth Woodward; and sisters, Ernestine Ward, Dorothy Montgomery, Lucy Chapman, and Dixie Poston.

She is survived by two sons, Victor Wayne (Loretta) Taylor of Jacksonville, FL, and Stacey Allen (Jackie) Taylor of the home; sisters, Mary Marker and Linda (Roger) Call; twelve grandchildren, Michael (Cheryl) Taylor, Melanie (Bryan) Wohlford, Nacole Woods, Kayla (Doug) Marvin, Derrick (Cathy) Taylor, Stacey (Lindsey) Taylor, Jr., Lorna (Chase) Cullop, Carol Ann Taylor, Richard Taylor, Christine Dickerson, Jason Dickerson, and Glenna (Matthew) White; 20 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday with Bro. Tracy Puckett and Rev. Robert Prater officiating. Interment will follow in Fall Hill Cemetery with Michael Taylor, Richard Taylor, Derrick Taylor, Stacey Taylor, Jr., Chase Cullop, and Austin Guinn serving as pallbearers.
