Wanda Elizabeth Price

Wanda Elizabeth Phelps Price, age 71, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was born on July 23, 1951, to the late Elmer Phelps and Orpha Booher Phelps in Washington County, VA. Wanda was a member of Victory Baptist Church for over 40 years.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Fields and brothers-in-law, Jimmy Fields and Jack Hickman.

Survivors include the love of her life, her husband of 50 years, George Preston Price; one son, Preston Price (Courtney); one daughter, Holly Edwards; three grandchildren, Madison Edwards, Cody Price and Jacob Price; one brother, Roger Phelps (Peggy); three sisters, Christine Harless, Temple Tignor (Earl) and Faye Hickman; special niece Tyra Harless; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Dr. Austin Cook officiating. Guests are asked to be at the cemetery by 1:45 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
