Warren Bayse Stallard

Abingdon, VA – Warren Bayse Stallard, age 73, passed on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Warren was born and raised in Wise County, VA to the late Malcom and Georgia Brickey Stallard. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired after 30 years of employment from General Electric in Ohio. Warren later moved to Abingdon, VA where he became a member of Trigg Street Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Barry Stallard, and brother, Malcom Conrad Stallard, Jr.
Warren is survived by his wife, Eula Widener Stallard; children, Jason (Katy) Stallard of Ohio, Michelle (Tim Russell) Stallard of Ohio, and Craig Stallard of Florida; step children, Judy Widener of Abingdon, VA, Pamela Snead of Glade Spring, VA, Georgia (Brian) Large of Abingdon, VA, and Jeff Wyatt and special friend Jamie Morrison of Abingdon, VA; brothers, Gregory (Debbie) Stallard of Wise, VA, and Glenn (Sandy) Stallard of Coeburn, VA; sister, Mitsy Bisaillon of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Courtney Barber, Madison Stallard, Joshua Peda, Aaron Peda, Lincoln Stallard, and Kennedy Stallard; and several loving step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Vaughan officiating. A committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Jeff Wyatt, Skyler Wyatt, Landon Henley, Brian Large, Tracy Wyatt, and Derek Widener serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the committal service are asked to convene at the cemetery before 11:00 a.m. Military Rites will be conducted by Highlands Veterans Honor Guard and the Virginia National Guard.
