In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren and living his life to the fullest.
Bill was such a kind hearted, loving soul and sometimes a Gentle Giant. The simple things in life brought him great joy: gardening, reading, and playing with his grandbabies. He enjoyed playing jokes on his two daughters and always had a smile on his face and a pocket full of candy. His sweetheart was his best friend and they loved going on adventures together.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Southfork Baptist Church, 215 South Fork Rd., Marion, Va. from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Family & friends of Bill and his family are welcome to attend and share stories or memories and just be together during this time.
