Wilma Ace Lester

Bristol, TN- Wilma “Ace” Lester, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at her home. She was born to the late Willard Musick and Vennie Kiser Musick on June 24, 1935. Ace retired from an electric supply company in the Washington D.C. area after 35 years of service where she was employed as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Maple Grove Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Lou M. Popham; brother, Willard L. Musick; and sister, Lillian M. Cole. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jim Lester; three step-sons, Lee Popham and David Popham of Miami, FL and Kevin Lester of Bristol, TN; and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and cousins. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 at Maple Grove Presbyterian Church, 14389 Black Hollow Road, Abingdon, VA 24210. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the church with Pastor Stephen Talbert and Minister Virgil Musick officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, VA where pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
