Wilma Jean Rose Bartley, age 85, of Abingdon, VA passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA.
She is survived by three sons, Avery “Eddie” Bartley Jr. and wife Sharon of Abingdon, VA, Ricky Lee Bartley and wife Rebecca of Abingdon VA, Jerry Willard Bartley and wife Crystal of Abingdon, VA; a daughter, Connie Fleming of Abingdon, VA; two sisters, Peggy Smith and Husband Mike of East Liverpool, OH, Sharon Roberts and husband Dr. Bill of Magnolia, DE; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband Avery Edward Bartley Sr.; father, George Dewey Rose; Mother Edna Mooney Rose; a sister Alladeen Barbour; a brother Gary Rose; sister-in-law Deborah Allen Rose.
The family will receive friends at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Forest Hills Funeral Chapel located at 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24210
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Forest Hills Funeral Chapel with Pastor Adam Wise officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Hills Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box 1072 Abingdon, VA
Pallbearers will be Travis Fletcher, Rick Neis, Billy Roberts, Logan Matney, Dalton Ratliff, Dustin Howell
